I was six when I wrote my first piece. It was a rhyming poem about unicorns (of course) with crayon illustrations I did myself (terrible, but drawing was never my forte). Words have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I've had the honor of writing for some of the largest retail companies around: Victoria's Secret, Gap and Macy's as well as strong beauty brands: Sephora, Bliss, Aveda. I've also worked in the magazine world as a freelance writer, editor and stylist's assistant. I've been a copywriter and a Copy Director, writing, editing and proofreading everything from emails and SEO-rich copy to direct mail pieces and PR releases. I've named my fair share of products—from lipsticks to socks—and crafted quite a few hangtags and product packages in my time. Each career experience has taught me something and I'm looking for an opportunity to continue learning.
